After your agent has done the valuation of your property and you have decided to work with them, the best thing for you to do is to ask your real estate professional what their strategy is to market and how they will execute the sale of your property.  Your agent will form a strategy depending on several factors they find in their research around your neighborhood, the valuation of your house, how your house fits with the rest of the neighborhood, any competing houses for sale in the area that are similar to yours, as well as several other possible factors.  Depending on how long your house is on-market your agent may speak with you about adjusting the price of the house or other elements that will attract offers.


In the end, don't be shy with being proactive to understand the how's and why's details in how your property is going to get sold.  Knowing these details may help your real estate professional and get your house sold faster and for more.
